Associate Site Reliability Engineer

Dental Intelligence Inc.Pleasant Grove, UT
Hybrid

About The Position

We’re hiring an Associate SRE to own a critical gap on our infrastructure team. Our senior engineers are focused on long-term initiatives, and our help desk handles day-to-day support, but there’s a category of work in between that requires strong engineering judgment and fast execution. This role is built for that space. You’ll take ownership of high-impact requests across the business, working directly with stakeholders to solve problems end-to-end. From unblocking deployments to improving systems, you’ll have the autonomy to move quickly and the opportunity to automate and streamline what you find. This is a highly visible role. When teams are stuck, you’re the one who gets them moving again. We're offering a newly created role with high visibility across the business, an environment actively modernizing its infrastructure (you won’t be maintaining the status quo, you’ll be helping define what comes next), and a path toward more senior responsibilities as the team grows.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in infrastructure, systems administration, or a platform/SRE-adjacent role.
  • Solid footing in the Microsoft stack: Windows Server, Azure, Entra ID, MS SQL.
  • Comfort working across VMware and cloud environments (Azure primary; AWS a plus).
  • Experience with scripting and automation. PowerShell at minimum; Python or similar a plus.
  • Familiarity with or genuine interest in IaC tooling (Terraform, Bicep, etc.) and container platforms (Kubernetes).
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts. You can dig into an unfamiliar system and figure out what’s wrong.
  • Comfort with AI-assisted development and an interest in the operational and governance side of it. We’re not looking for a researcher. We need someone who can help us move fast without making a mess.
  • Good stakeholder communication; you’ll be the face of the infrastructure team for a lot of day-to-day requests.
