Dr. Al-Hebshi’s group at the Oral Microbiome Research Laboratory at Temple University is seeking an outstanding Associate Scientist to conduct research on the potential interactions between bacteria and oral cancer, including their roles in carcinogenesis, anticancer activity, and immunomodulation. The appointed scientist will have the opportunity to work as part of an interdisciplinary research team and interact with a large network of national and international collaborators. Besides leading the execution of major research projects, the appointed postdoc is expected to help with the laboratory administrative tasks and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students, and if eligible, to develop and submit own grant applications. Performs other duties as assigned.
