The Chemours Titanium Technologies Product Development Organization located at the Chemours Discovery Hub in Newark, DE has an Associate Scientist position available for an extrusion scientist focused on polymer processing and extrusion technology. Our extrusion scientists support research and development activities ranging from hands-on polymer processing and extrusion trials to equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and process improvement. This is a key role within the Company and the Technology function. This position will report to the Pigment Technology team Supervisor. For this role, practical knowledge of extrusion equipment, polymer processing, materials handling, and safe laboratory operations is critical in order to collaborate successfully with R&D scientists, engineers, and technicians while conducting extrusion trials, collecting data, maintaining equipment, and supporting development of new titanium dioxide and adjacent material applications in plastics.
