Requirements

• Must currently hold a PhD OR Receive a Ph.D. no later than spring 2027
• Ph.D. in Epidemiology (highly preferred), or or a related field.
• Proficiency in epidemiological methods and study design and conduct, including data analysis.
• Experience in systematic literature review and meta-analysis.
• Experience in using AI tools for research and data analysis.
• Record of research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Creative problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and collaborate with colleagues with a wide variety of backgrounds and expertise.

Nice To Haves

• Background or prior experience in pulmonary hypertension and/or cardiorespiratory.

Responsibilities

• Conducting targeted and systematic literature reviews, including quantitative evidence synthesis and meta-analysis.
• Developing a fit-for-purpose risk-of-bias assessment tool to evaluate the methodological quality of pulmonary hypertension studies.
• Collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop an AI-enabled platform for synthesizing evidence from the published literature.
• Developing study protocols, conducting epidemiologic studies and data analyses, and preparing final study reports.
• Preparing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and presenting research findings at scientific conferences.
