The in vivo Associate Scientist II will be a member of the Immunology Discovery group in a fast paced, highly matrixed and interactive environment. This group is focused on discovering novel therapeutics to treat inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Spring House-based team and be part of a broader group including members in the Spring House (PA), La Jolla (CA), and Cambridge (MA) campus focusing on immune mechanisms and pathways in various immune-mediated diseases. The primary responsibility will be to actively engage in early discovery efforts by designing and executing in vivo and ex vivo experiments to support the Immunology Discovery strategy. The candidate should have a strong background in in vivo biology and preferably proficiency in immunology models in the respiratory and autoimmune field. The candidate will have direct responsibility for the design and execution of experimental in vivo and ex vivo/in vitro strategies, closely overseeing the generation, analysis and accurate recording of data in compliance with data integrity requirements, and presentation of findings to peer scientists. The candidate will also possess a strong ability to independently implement experiments, interpret data, and troubleshoot issues.
