About The Position

Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. We have an opportunity for a Sr. Associate Scientist I to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain analytical laboratories and ensure a clean, organized work environment. You will support project activities through effective communication and adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices. This position also involves performing assigned tasks and maintaining accurate documentation. Shift: Monday - Friday, 12pm - 830pm Location: Kansas City, MO 100% Onsite

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant science discipline; OR Bachelor's degree in a relevant science discipline with 2+ years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain analytical laboratories, including cleanliness, glassware cleaning, ordering supplies, and minor documentation.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, peers, and supervisors to support project activities.
• Maintain awareness of Current Good Manufacturing Practices, industry standards, and modern techniques relevant to pharmaceutical sciences.
• Keep training current on all applicable standard operating procedures, ensuring records are up to date in the internal system.
• Train or mentor peers as needed.
• Ensure a clean and organized laboratory work environment is maintained.
• Perform basic Good Manufacturing Practice documentation and testing in accordance with assigned tasks, including sample pickup and delivery.
• Perform tasks as assigned.
