About The Position

This role is located at the St. Petersburg site, which is the primary softgel development and manufacturing facility in North America. The site is equipped to develop lipid formulations in a dedicated pilot plant, facilitating a quick transition from laboratory scale to clinical supply. Capabilities for liquid-in-bottle and liquid-fill hard-shell capsules offer diversification and speed to clinic. Within the Catalent network, the site provides integrated formulation and analytical services to address complex development and manufacturing challenges. The analytical laboratory offers comprehensive services, from analytical method development to routine QC testing, supporting both commercial and development stability studies. With an annual capacity of over 18 billion softgels and service to over 100 global markets, the St. Petersburg site can handle manufacturing needs for Over the Counter (OTC), Prescription (Rx), Medical Devices, Controlled Substances, or Dietary Supplements. The facility also includes a segregated hormone manufacturing area compliant with current regulatory requirements. In addition to traditional animal-based gelatin softgels, the site produces products in non-gelatin OptiShell® and Vegicaps® to accommodate a wider range of molecules.
