That starts by employing a talented and highly qualified group of experts that develop the tools to support research scientists. Currently, we are looking to add an Associate Scientist to the team:

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
3+ years of relevant lab experience.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with chemistry related software.
A fundamental understanding of chemistry and familiarity with analytical techniques for product purification and characterization.
Ability to perform and interpret analytical data, including but not limited to: 1H and 13C NMR, mass spec, UV, and HPLC.
Ability to complete complex lab calculations.
Basic understanding of and compliance with laboratory safety.
Availability to work on-site during normal business hours.

Responsibilities

Perform diverse organic syntheses, purifications, and characterizations of compounds.
Isolate and identify desired product from complex mixtures.
Prepare accurate and complete QC data packets prior to compound submission.
Write SOPs and transfer standardized products to internal Chemistry Core team.
Work cooperatively in a team environment.
Report status of work to direct supervisor on a stepwise basis.
Read scientific literature with accuracy and understanding.
May hold specialized essential duties within the functions of the department.
