Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in basic laboratory skills and procedures (g. pipetting, solution preparations, dilutions)
• Hands-on experience in PCR/qPCR experimental design, execution, and data analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work under strict timelines

Nice To Haves

• Bioinformatics/PCR primer and probe design experience
• Knowledge in statistics
• Experience working in IVD product development and/or a regulated environment

Responsibilities

• Execute experiments in a PCR laboratory setting. May also include working in a Containment Level 2 laboratory with biological samples
• General laboratory maintenance and organization, such as cleaning and restocking the labs
• Experimental design and execution, data analysis and interpretation
• Experiment documentation, protocol and report writing
• Analyze and present data to the R&D and project teams
• Comply with company quality policies and operating procedures
• Additional duties may be assigned as required
