About The Position

This position is an existing vacancy. As an Associate Sales Director, you will provide inside sales support for the Sales Directors. This includes marketing products and concepts to advisors, consulting with advisors on cases, comparing ivari’s product offerings with the competition’s, and using sales concepts to meet client needs. You will work virtually out of your home base in the Greater Vancouver Area, with occasional visits to WFG offices in the territory when necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven problem solving, customer service and organizational skills is critical to this role
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Life Insurance industry and products with at least 3 - 4 years of experience
  • University degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to seek and identify new business opportunities
  • Proven ability to build on existing business
  • Ability to forecast needs of Sales Directors as well as producers/advisors
  • Solid business acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to manage numerous relationships well
  • Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
  • Awareness and integrity as it relates to the team’s compliance management activities
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Sound knowledge and application of Universal Life Insurance (UL) is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and maintain key relationships within region
  • Liaise between producers/advisors and head office to ensure highest standard of service
  • Identify training needs and recommend sales/marketing solutions with focus on maximizing sales
  • Provide marketing, product and administrative support including sales calls and database development
  • Implement and sustain a call rotation and activity level which allows you to focus on our key advisors while still supporting the different WFG offices and staff
  • Provide basic training through one-on-one sessions and large group presentations
  • Attend WFG related events (in person and virtual) throughout the year (occasional evening and weekends expected), as well as some travel may be required
