About The Position

The Associate Sales Consultant (ASC) role is designed for a motivated, early-career sales professional ready to make an impact in the field of medical diagnostics. The ASC will work closely with a Pulmonary Sales Consultant (PSC) to increase awareness and adoption of Biodesix’s lung disease diagnostic tests. This role involves supporting existing accounts and assisting in opening new ones, providing hands-on experience in medical diagnostics sales. It is ideal for individuals seeking to enhance their sales skills, engage with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a mission-driven organization focused on improving patient care through personalized diagnostics.

Requirements

• A track record of persistence, drive, and teamwork—whether in sales, school, sports, or elsewhere
• Grit, curiosity, and a customer-first mindset
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50%
• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related sales experience preferred (not required)

Nice To Haves

• Pharmaceutical sales experience is not preferred for this role

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PSCs to drive adoption of Biodesix products
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers
• Support customer needs and resolve issues quickly and professionally
• Learn the science behind our diagnostics and explain it clearly to others
• Stay organized and responsive through timely CRM updates and follow-ups
