About The Position

The Associate, Risk Governance role at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York focuses on mitigating risks associated with facilitating lending commitments and sensitive banking transactions to ensure an excellent client experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
  • Two (2) years of experience reviewing bank loan credit agreements and reviewing documentation terms for revolving credit facilities and term loans.
  • Two (2) years of experience reviewing various forms of financial statements, including 10K’s, 10QQ’s, Compliance Certificates, and Borrowing Base Certificates.
  • Two (2) years of experience leveraging tools and technologies to manage and report on risks and exposures, including using MS Office Suite.
  • Two (2) years of experience communicating clearly, concisely, and effectively with internal and external constituents including leadership, corporate and sponsor clients, lawyers, and lead arrangers/banks.
  • Two (2) years of experience analyzing large data sets and trends and summarizing results to produce presentations.
  • Two (2) years of experience observing and assisting senior banker and product partners in the full life cycle of multiple transactions from pitch/origination, underwriting/approval, negotiation/execution, to position/portfolio management.
  • Two (2) years of experience working on business specific projects and initiatives as needed, including process enhancements.
