Associate Rigging Mechanic

This position is responsible for entry level repairs and service across a wide array of electrical/mechanical equipment. Works on assignments that are moderatelty difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. This position will support our Audio Visual & Event Technology team. The position follows a in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Atlanta, GA.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must maintain a valid state driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree Preferred
- Certificate of Completion or Degree from accredited college or trade school related to the field of electronics is preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience within rigging production and/or warehouse operations
- CETa
- ETCP
- ISF
Responsibilities
- Repair, inspect and maintain rental inventory of electric chain hoists, winches, and other electrical/mechanical equipment
- Repair, inspect and maintain electric chain hoists as a service for other companies in the entertainment and tradeshow industries
- Reconfigure chain hoists in rental inventory as required by rental demand
- Communicate regularly with Service Manager regarding maintenance concerns, repair parts inventory, and product improvements
- Interpret exploded views, electrical data, and wiring diagrams
- Assist in essential duties and responsibilities as defined in job description for Equipment Inspector
- Attend production meetings as required
- Designate tasks to all hoist technicians on a daily basis
- Determine daily workflow for all hoist technicians
