About The Position

L.L.Bean is hiring an Associate Retail Inventory Allocator to help ensure products are available in the right stores at the right time. The role uses inventory systems, reporting, and insights from cross-functional partners to maintain effective SKU and store inventory levels, support sales forecasts, and manage products throughout their lifecycle. The allocator manages assigned product categories with low to medium complexity, contributes independently, develops allocation expertise, and supports the company’s inventory strategy. The position is based in Freeport, Maine and requires working in the office at least four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned low- to medium-complexity business areas using approved processes, controls, and reporting.
• Use Fulfillment Replenishment and Dynamic Allocations functionality to support the store order construct.
• Support retail inventory strategies and learn to interpret Merchandising and Visual intent.
• Maintain accuracy in Replenishment, New to Floor, and New Store Fit-Up orders for assigned categories.
• Identify patterns and relationships in data, draw objective conclusions, and summarize findings clearly.
• Proactively identify and manage business trends.
• Support department leadership and collaborate with cross-functional team members to meet channel deliverables.
• Prioritize and execute assigned day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.
• Understand and participate in change as needed to achieve financial and business goals.
