About The Position

The Associate - Research and Database Management works at Randolph AFB, Texas, and is responsible for reconciling data errors identified during the collection and entry of information into the Automated Records Management System (ARMS). The role reviews computer records for error conditions before information is cataloged, takes action to correct errors so the system can accept the data, and works with the appropriate Office of Primary Responsibility and Lead Worker to resolve incomplete or erroneous records. The Associate also serves as the Division Trusted Agent for ARMS access and provides customer service by answering or routing questions.

Responsibilities

Review computer records for error conditions that must be reconciled before information is cataloged into ARMS.
Correct error conditions so data can be properly accepted by the system.
Answer customer questions within the role’s area of responsibility.
Answer phones and respond to questions or direct callers to the appropriate Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR).
Contact the appropriate OPR when records are incomplete or erroneous and coordinate corrections.
Work with OPRs to reconcile or correct error conditions.
Work with the Lead Worker to reconcile error conditions.
Serve as the Division Trusted Agent for ARMS access and take corrective action as necessary.
