The Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) collaborates with Relationship Managers (RMs) to facilitate sales and servicing efforts, conduct financial and risk analyses, and aid in developing client solutions. This role is structured for growth through specialized training and practical experience, evolving from fundamental support tasks to more advanced client engagement and business development duties. ARMs are expected to demonstrate strong financial and risk analysis skills, alongside sales and business development acumen. Critical thinking and effective prioritization are crucial, especially when supporting multiple Relationship Managers or other internal partners. A core aspect of the ARM role is a dedication to continuous learning and progressive skill enhancement. This includes acquiring a thorough understanding of the bank’s products and services, developing sales and client engagement competencies, identifying new revenue opportunities through prospecting, applying consultative selling strategies, and advancing proposals through the sales cycle.
