About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Mid Corp Associate Relationship Manager as part of the South Central Division. In this role, you will support Mid‑Corporate Relationship Managers in attracting, growing, and retaining client relationships through proactive preparation and execution of sales activities. You will provide direct support to Relationship Managers across key markets, including Missouri, Colorado and Texas. This role involves preparing client data, pitch materials, and presentation content to support meetings, strategy discussions, and internal reviews. You will also assist with client interactions through pre‑call planning, real‑time note‑taking, and timely post‑call follow‑up. Additionally, you will conduct recurring portfolio reviews, track opportunities, and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule. Collaboration with product partners to deliver tailored solutions and close coordination with Credit partners on various analyses and preparations are key aspects of this position. You will manage client administration, support Treasury Management and deposit-related requests, and participate in compliance and risk activities. The role also includes representing Wells Fargo in the market, assisting in structuring and renewing complex transactions, and leading or resolving complex initiatives within Relationship Management. Utilizing systems, dashboards, and data for relationship planning and pipeline management, partnering with Business Development Representatives to identify new client relationships, and compiling market insights are also responsibilities. You will identify cross‑sell opportunities and uphold Wells Fargo’s vision, values, customer focus standards, and disciplined sales practices, ensuring appropriate ownership and accountability across risk, compliance, and product teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

  • Deep expertise across core banking products and services, including commercial lending, treasury management, and related credit solutions.
  • Commercial Banking or Corporate & Investment Banking experience with a proven track record in the Mid‑Corporate segment.
  • Formally credit trained, with strong credit acumen and the ability to structure and evaluate complex transactions.
  • Demonstrated history of managing and growing commercial relationships, generating new business, and cultivating long‑term client partnerships.
  • Strong cross‑functional collaborator who works effectively with product partners to deliver comprehensive, integrated solutions to clients and prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or resolve complex initiatives within Relationship Management, ensuring alignment with policy and risk expectations.

  • Partner with Business Development Representatives to identify and source new client relationships.
  • Compile and share earnings call summaries, investor updates, and relevant market insights internally.
