About The Position

The Associate Regional Investment Director (AVP) partners closely with the Regional Investment Director (VP) to support the growth, performance, and strategic execution of bank and credit union wealth management programs that utilize LPL Financial as their broker-dealer and advisory platform. This role serves as a key relationship manager and strategic consultant to institution program leaders, helping them strengthen program performance, execute growth initiatives, enhance advisor engagement strategies, and deliver an exceptional wealth management experience for clients. The Associate Regional Investment Director translates strategic priorities into actionable business plans and collaborates with institutional stakeholders to drive sustainable program growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of financial services experience, preferably within wealth management, consulting, wholesaling, or institution-based programs.
  • Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 Life & Health Insurance License
  • Flexible to travel approximately 10% as needed for business needs

Nice To Haves

  • FINRA Series 9 & 10 or Series 24
  • MBA, CFP®, CFA®, or CIMA®.
  • Experience supporting bank or credit union wealth management programs.
  • Strong knowledge of bank and credit union wealth management programs.
  • Experience consulting with business leaders and driving growth initiatives.
  • Understanding of financial planning, advisory platforms, managed accounts, and insurance solutions.
  • Strong communication, relationship management, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze business performance and develop actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with bank and credit union program leaders to execute growth strategies and achieve program objectives.
  • Support initiatives focused on financial planning, advisory solutions, managed accounts, insurance, and overall program profitability.
  • Analyze program performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve growth, productivity, and client outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with institutional leaders and serve as a trusted business partner.
  • Support advisor recruiting, onboarding, development, and retention strategies through collaboration with program leadership.
  • Assist with the implementation of strategic initiatives, technology adoption, and change management efforts.
  • Promote a strong risk, compliance, and governance culture across supported programs.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to deliver an exceptional experience for institutions and their wealth management programs.
