About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate, Recruiter to join our People Operations Department, focused on building Hut 8's next generation of talent through Emerging Talent Hiring. The Associate, Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for interns, entry-level and new graduate roles — from identifying high-potential candidates at universities and colleges to facilitating successful hires. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for connecting emerging professionals with exciting career opportunities at one of the most innovative companies in the technology and energy space.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related HR role.
  • Familiarity with a variety of sourcing techniques and tools, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, Handshake, and job board management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a track record of managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is energized by ambiguity and change rather than slowed down by it.
  • Must be able to work 5 days a week onsite in our Miami, Brickell office.

Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles within the company.
  • Create and post job descriptions on various job boards, social media platforms, and other relevant channels.
  • Utilize different sourcing methods to attract passive candidates, including social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Promote the company's employer brand and culture to attract top talent.
  • Plan and attend University Career Fairs, 'Hackathons,' and other recruiting events as needed.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and recruitment activity.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of job offers to successful candidates.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and key metrics to HR management.
  • Own and manage Hut 8's university recruiting program, including building relationships with career centers, faculty, and student organizations at target schools.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend on-campus and virtual career fairs, hackathons, case competitions, and other campus recruiting events.
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to attract top graduating talent across engineering, computer science, finance, and other relevant disciplines.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define entry-level role requirements and build structured internship-to-full-time pipelines.
  • Track and analyze campus recruiting metrics to continuously improve program effectiveness and expand Hut 8's campus presence.
