Leonardo DRS, Inc.•Frederick, MD

About The Position

The Associate Radio Frequency Engineer supports the design, development, analysis, integration, and testing of RF components, equipment, systems, and subsystems. The role contributes to RF requirements analysis, definition, and management, and performs functional, performance, and interface analysis for designs, including measures such as instantaneous dynamic range, noise figure, and pass-band response. Work includes supporting the design and testing of analog and mixed-signal devices such as amplifiers, filters, and ADCs. The engineer works under supervision, reports progress and status, and completes assigned tasks on time while meeting technical requirements. The position may involve computer-aided engineering or other design and analysis software, supplier component evaluation, prototype development, and participation in less complex proposals and engineering, customer, or business meetings.
