About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Associate Quality Inspector to join our team in Enfield, CT. This role involves verifying routine product conformance to design requirements, providing objective evidence of results, and segregating and controlling non-conforming items. The inspector will perform preliminary reviews and dispositions of non-conformance. Under limited supervision, the inspector will inspect incoming parts/material and outgoing orders, verify certification accuracy, check parts for processing, and handle special orders. Daily use of micrometers, gauge controls, calipers, and indicators is expected. This position also provides mentorship throughout the Inspection team. The role includes conducting dimensional inspections per design records and documented AQL levels, as well as visual inspections for obvious defects. Reviewing and dispositioning all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and Company Quality standards, and communicating with vendors as needed, are also key responsibilities. Disposition and control of non-conforming products are integral to the role.

Requirements

2+ years’ related work experience using of calipers, ring/pin gages, comparator.
2+ years’ experience in QA inspection methods and procedures reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints
Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam
A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities
