Associate Quality Engineer
About The Position
Boeing Distribution, Inc. Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Associate Quality Engineer to join their team in O Fallon, MO. This role is responsible for meeting and exceeding customer quality metrics to ensure customer preferred supplier status. The Associate Quality Engineer will conduct customer quality reviews, lead technical calls with suppliers, and collaborate internally with supply chain and externally with the customer on supplier management work transfer processes. This position also drives root cause corrective actions (RCCA) with customers, suppliers, and the internal BDSI organization, addresses non-conforming events, and works with customers on RMA products, submitting documents for MRB approval. Additionally, the role involves writing quality plans for customer products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or related field of study
- 2 - 4 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
- 1+ years of experience with execution of root cause corrective actions (RCCA)
- Intermediate or higher proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel)
- This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
