About The Position

This role is responsible for performing laboratory testing, including routine tests on products and materials under supervision, and generating laboratory results. The position also involves maintaining the lab, preparing samples, recording results, setting up and cleaning testing equipment, and identifying equipment or testing issues. The Associate Quality Control will ensure the availability of proper equipment and supplies, enter data for compliance checks, report abnormalities, and follow SOPs and cGMPs. This role requires applying critical thought to problem-solving, working on problems that require in-depth knowledge of scientific methods, and operating under general supervision for routine tasks with detailed instructions for new assignments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent or High school diploma or GED, with 4 years of experience
  • Associate's degree and 2 years of work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and 0 years of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’ degree in Scientific / Biotech / Pharmaceutical field of study, preferred
  • 0-5 years experience

Responsibilities

  • Performing laboratory testing
  • Assisting with/completing routine tests on products and materials
  • Generating laboratory results under supervision
  • Maintaining lab housekeeping and stocking
  • Performing tasks such as sample preparation and recording of results
  • Setting up and taking down testing and other laboratory equipment
  • Cleaning up testing sites
  • Identifying and highlighting equipment and testing issues
  • Supporting the availability of proper equipment and supplies for testing
  • Entering data evaluated for compliance to specifications
  • Reporting abnormalities
  • Reading, understanding, and following SOP’s and complying with cGMP’s
  • Applying critical thought to solving problems
  • Working on problems requiring an in-depth knowledge of scientific methods and techniques
