About The Position

TOGA Technology is seeking an Associate QA/QC Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support the development team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to help ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will assist with writing and executing test cases, validating features against user stories, performing manual and automated testing, and documenting defects. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of QA/QC or software testing experience.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases derived from user stories and requirements.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman.
• Experience with automated testing using Cypress.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, ADO, TestRail, or similar).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to sharing updates.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to think through edge cases and anticipate failure points.
• Ability to manage multiple testing tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Comfortable working independently and within a team environment.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and expand responsibilities over time.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, especially when documenting defects or test results.
• Positive attitude, accountability, and a quality-first mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of SQL and version control (e.g., Git) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute test cases based on requirements and user stories.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and API layers.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and validate responses, status codes, and data integrity.
• Develop and maintain automated UI tests using Cypress.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear, reproducible steps, and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Maintain accurate, organized test documentation, test plans, and traceability throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Report testing progress, results, and quality metrics to the team and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
