About The Position

The Associate Provost for Academic Affairs will provide leadership and administrative support for programs and learning services across academic divisions of St. Luke's College of Health Sciences. Supports all areas of Academic Affairs, with a particular emphasis on assessment, institutional research, and faculty development as well as provide leadership for pedagogical/andragogical development of full-time, part-time, and adjunct faculty.

Requirements

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• A demonstrated history of progressive academic administrative leadership in higher education.
• Prior experience chairing a committee, department, or comparable academic body.
• Expertise in academic planning, program development, and accreditation processes.
• Proven ability to build consensus and collaborate effectively across diverse constituencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and data clearly.
• A demonstrated track record of resolving complex academic and administrative challenges.

Responsibilities

• Serve as advisor and delegate to the President/Provost, providing leadership in executing the College's academic mission and priorities.
• Act on behalf of the President/Provost in their absence or as otherwise assigned, representing Academic Affairs in internal and external forums.
• Collaborate with Program Directors to advance academic excellence across programs.
• Provide leadership in academic policy development and ensure compliance with institutional standards and accreditation requirements.
• Administer the distribution and processing of semester student course evaluations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies related to academic affairs.
• Coordinate academic program review and assessment processes to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead institutional research and assessment functions, ensuring excellence in institutional data, analytics, and evidence-based academic practices.
• Partner with the President/Provost to oversee faculty hiring, development, and evaluation processes.
