The Associate Project Manager supports Fahe’s grant-funded and consulting projects by coordinating activities, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate program documentation. This position serves as a point of contact for Members, partners, and clients—supporting outreach, intake, and project administration that advances Fahe’s mission to strengthen communities across Appalachia. The Projects Team works with a diverse range of clients including Fahe Members, local governments, nonprofits, and community organizations, and offers a range of services from comprehensive project management to discrete project activities such as Environmental Reviews and tailored technical assistance. Projects vary widely and the team prioritizes working with each client to meet their specific needs. Past project examples include administering CDBG-RHP funds for housing development and rehabilitation serving individuals in substance use disorder recovery, preparing and managing applications for state funding opportunities, and supporting local governments with strategic planning for infrastructure initiatives such as water and sewer expansion. The Associate Project Manager will work in collaboration with Project Managers and the Director of Projects on a variety of projects, providing task, logistics, and compliance/documentation support to the team and to clients.
