About The Position

Vantage is looking for an Associate Project Manager to support the Energy Strategy team by providing early-stage project management, coordination, and documentation support across Gate 0 to approximately early Gate 2. This role ensures project continuity, organization, and data integrity as opportunities move from concept through early diligence and are prepared for handoff to downstream delivery teams. This position is a true early-stage project management role, focused on information management, stakeholder coordination, and execution support.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, project coordination, executive support, or similar roles.
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, utilities, or development environments preferred.
  • Prior Executive Assistant or highly organized coordination background is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and large amounts of data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves

Responsibilities

  • Manage early-stage energy strategy projects from Gate 0 through early Gate 2, ensuring organization, continuity, and progress across multiple parallel initiatives.
  • Own project documentation and data management, maintaining accurate records, trackers, and databases for early-stage opportunities.
  • Support development of early-stage energy strategies, including identification and evaluation of powered land opportunities ahead of site selection.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including Energy Strategy, Market Development, Site Selection, and subject matter experts to align inputs and timelines.
  • Ensure clean and effective handoffs to downstream teams by documenting assumptions, risks, decisions, and open items prior to project transition.
  • Track milestones, action items, dependencies, and risks across early-stage energy initiatives.
  • Capture detailed meeting notes and translate discussions into clear actions, documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain data accuracy within internal tools, databases, and desk references to support decision-making.
  • Support regional energy and market development strategies across North American markets.
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding activities, including NDAs and internal process navigation.
  • Work with internal and external partners supporting energy-related projects and initiatives.
  • Manage a high volume of information and ensure consistency across documentation and reporting.
  • Additional duties as assigned by management.
