About The Position

Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) is seeking an accomplished leader to serve as Associate Project Manager (APM) for the EIC Detector Subproject. The APM is responsible for planning, integrating, and executing the Detector Subproject within the approved technical, cost, schedule, and risk baseline. This position reports to the Physics Division Director and the EIC Project Manager for project execution. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the EIC Co-Associate Directors for the Experimental Program, the ePIC Collaboration, DOE, and national and international partner institutions. The APM will partner with the EIC Co-Associate Directors for the Experimental Program to define and maintain detector priorities consistent with the scientific vision. The APM is responsible for translating scientific objectives into an executable DOE project and delivering the approved Detector Subproject.
