About The Position

JLL is seeking an Associate Project Manager specializing in Sustainable Building design & construction to join their Sustainability Consulting team. This role involves supporting and managing projects related to new construction and existing building operations, focusing on sustainability. The position requires continuous development of skills, adoption of new technologies, and interaction with clients and vendors to develop collaborative solutions. Responsibilities include managing project documentation, performing research, conducting meetings, and developing reports. Knowledge of commercial real estate operations, sustainability, energy management, construction, and/or the architectural industry is important. The role emphasizes creating an energized and collaborative environment, focusing on project delivery and client satisfaction through teamwork and relationship development. The Associate Project Manager will be proactive, forward-thinking, and capable of managing minor renovation projects and assisting with larger ones.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years’ experience in real estate sustainability, corporate environmental management or energy efficiency
  • BA/BS degree in environmental science, engineering, real estate, architecture, or related field with strong record of academic achievement
  • Possess strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with any of the following: LEED, WELL, Fitwel, GRESB, ENERGY STAR, Building HVAC Systems
  • Proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools and continually seek opportunities to develop your skillset
  • Act decisively, think big, and manage your time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and managing industry changing projects
  • Working with a team to deliver challenging sustainability projects related to new construction and existing building operations
  • Interacting with clients and vendors to develop collaborative solutions
  • Managing project related documentation
  • Performing research
  • Conducting weekly meetings
  • Developing reports and memos communicating technical details, processes and action items
  • Participating in project meetings, charrettes and presentations
  • Keeping a detailed record of all topics covered in weekly meetings for reference by the team
  • Developing and tracking sustainability metrics and goals
  • Supporting team with documentation to achieve green building certifications (such as LEED, WELL, Zero Carbon, etc.)
  • Providing written and oral comments and reports to design teams, owners, or contractors
  • Conducting project job site visits during construction to monitor progress and ensure conformance to sustainable design specifications, owner expectations and building codes
  • Supporting project executives on large complex projects and assignments
  • Proactively managing project-related issues on account or assignment
  • Developing scope and schedule for assigned projects
  • Demonstrating a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner
