Associate Project Manager, Retail Construction
About The Position
JLL is seeking an Associate Project Manager specializing in commercial construction to join their Project and Development Services team. This role involves supporting and managing challenging construction projects, interacting with clients and vendors, negotiating contracts, managing project documentation, tracking RFPs, conducting meetings, and developing project scope and schedules. The position requires continuous development of skills and adoption of new technologies. The Associate Project Manager will foster an energized and collaborative environment, focusing on project delivery and client satisfaction through teamwork and relationship development. They will be proactive, forward-thinking, and deliver consistent, timely, high-quality work in a cost-effective manner. Responsibilities include managing minor renovation projects and assisting in managing projects of varying sizes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in architecture, construction management, business, accounting, engineering, or real estate is (PREFERRED)
- 3+ years of relevant experience, related to project or construction management.
- Commercial construction project management experience (PREFERRED)
- Proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools.
- Ability to continually seek opportunities to develop technical skillset.
- Ability to act decisively, think big, and manage time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
