About The Position

The Will Group is seeking an Associate Project Manager – Quotations to join TWG Infrastructure in Wheaton, IL. This role is responsible for managing the quotation lifecycle from initial customer request through quotation and proposal submission. The position offers an opportunity to build a career in project management and commercial operations by working with customers, Sales, manufacturers, engineering, purchasing, finance, and internal operations teams to develop accurate and competitive project solutions. TWG Infrastructure supports customers across public and private sectors, providing products, technical resources, and infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to learn products, systems, processes, and technical information quickly.
  • Strong customer-service and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience in customer service, sales support, quotations, estimating, project coordination, drafting, or technical support.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience in infrastructure, utility, transportation, construction, manufacturing, or industrial markets.
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, quoting, or manufacturer portal systems such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned quotation opportunities from initial inquiry through proposal submission.
  • Track quotation schedules, customer deadlines, bid dates, and project milestones.
  • Monitor opportunities and follow up with internal teams and manufacturing partners.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and information in internal systems.
  • Identify potential delays or issues and escalate them appropriately.
  • Review plans, specifications, addenda, and customer requirements.
  • Assist with product selection, configurations, and solution development.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers to obtain pricing, lead times, technical information, and product recommendations.
  • Identify discrepancies between project requirements, specifications, and proposed solutions.
  • Prepare accurate and complete quotation packages.
  • Support company pricing, margin, and commercial guidelines.
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for customers and Sales throughout the quotation process.
  • Provide timely updates regarding pricing, product availability, manufacturer feedback, and timelines.
  • Respond to customer questions regarding products, specifications, pricing, and lead times.
  • Build professional relationships that contribute to customer satisfaction and successful project pursuits.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Operations, Finance, Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, and manufacturing partners.
  • Communicate project requirements clearly and effectively.
  • Support Sales in identifying solutions that meet customer requirements and manufacturer capabilities.
  • Escalate technical, commercial, or specification-related issues when necessary.
