About The Position

The Associate Project Manager will play a vital role in supporting our Business Intelligence and Analytics teams and Program Management leads by ensuring that all projects and client requests stay on track, are organized, and progress smoothly from inception to delivery. This role primarily focuses on owning and managing the process and workflow supporting 30-40 data analysts to ensure understanding of priorities, clearly defined scope, and establishing project plans to meet client expectations. It requires a proactive and organized individual who can align diverse stakeholders—ranging from media, technology, data, business strategy, and executive client leadership—and has a passion for data-driven marketing. The ideal candidate will maintain oversight of project activities, assist in correcting process issues, identify potential problems, and ensure prompt resolution.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in project management in an agency, ad tech, media consultancy, or SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional technology and business initiatives in a complex corporate environment.
  • Experience working in an agile organization and managing scrums.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong meeting facilitator who is comfortable planning and leading meetings at all levels.
  • Proficient at building project plans, owning status reports, managing risks, and communicating with leadership.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools, with specific expertise in Jira and Monday.com.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership, with a willingness to jump in and lead to get the job done.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of technology, data, MarTech, and media is a plus.
  • PMP, Agile, or SAFe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Dedicate approximately 80% of time to the hands-on management of a high-volume client request workflow, from initial request to final completion.
  • Manage the assignment and tracking of all tasks, ensuring they are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
  • Reinforce compliance with the established workflow, conduct training for team members on processes, and serve as the subject matter expert.
  • Execute foundational project management activities, including creating and managing project plans, meeting notes, RACIs, charters, and tickets.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders so that they are informed with the right information at the right time to make decisions.
  • Identify risks and issues proactively and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with team leads to scope work, identify capacity needs, and optimize team processes for delivering against desired outcomes.
  • Manage daily and weekly scrums to ensure the project team is aligned and on track within an agile framework.
  • Understand dependencies across other teams and programs where applicable.
  • Act as a central liaison across all team members to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand project needs and goals, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage client relationships with stakeholders across multiple departments.
  • Lead and facilitate discussions, ensuring alignment and consensus across stakeholders.
  • Help manage scope changes by communicating with relevant teams and advocating for necessary adjustments in time or resources to ensure project success.
