About The Position

The Associate Multi-Family Project Manager is responsible for all non-field related tasks. This includes processing leads, facilitating projects, and developing budgets. The Associate Project Manager will coordinate with field sales to create a sales strategy, and prepare project proposals.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret construction blueprints
  • Ability to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 1 year of experience in various aspects of Multi-Family business, including, but not limited to, budgeting, reading plans and negotiating pricing
  • 1 year of experience in Project Management

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Simpson sales force to manage specific projects.
  • Package and price material lists.
  • Review plans and issue budgetary numbers for a project.
  • Evaluate and analyze competitive situations.
  • Facilitate take-offs with the Engineering Services Department.
  • Stage, ship and invoice projects as well as issue and respond to RFI’s and questions from the jobsite.
  • Travel to various meetings and customer jobsites for sales presentations and preconstruction issues.
