Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years of B2B sales experience in the elevator or related industry
  • Effective presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, objection handling and closing skills with a proven sales track record.
  • Ability to empathize, listen and connect with people to form outstanding customer relationships.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Motivated, resilient, and customer-focused mindset with a strong character aligned with Schindler’s values.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP and a results-driven mindset to thrive in a competitive sales environment preferred
  • Demonstrated Ability to handle a mix of office and fieldwork, with flexibility for travel and managing customer interactions preferred

Responsibilities

  • Aid the Existing Installation Sales Account Managers in pursuing repair sales, new maintenance contracts, and in tracking the current sales portfolio to anticipate contract retention opportunities.
  • Prepare and present repair, renewal and recovery presentations and proposals to meet or exceed sales and profitability objectives.
  • Understand and utilize the complete range of Schindler products, procedures and service offerings to ensure the Company meets all client requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and Schindler to build strong, long-term relationships and leverage industry knowledge to achieve sales targets.
  • Work with property managers and building owners to ensure that Schindler products and maintenance agreements meet both customer expectations and Company requirements for quality, performance reliability and passenger safety.
  • Evaluate any customer inquiries or complaints and recommend corrective action to management and/or Sales Account Manager.
  • Assist with accounts receivable for client portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Collaborate with Existing Installations Sales Account Managers and Superintendents to prepare maintenance and repair estimates, communicate proposals and schedule service orders.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and files in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
