We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to support sales and project delivery for our Critical Spares Solutions. The position will work with existing Project Managers and cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives. GENESYS projects encompass engineering design, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases. As an Associate Project Manager, you will take ownership of company core values, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with a steadfast commitment to safety excellence. Works closely with the Sales, Project Management, Engineering and Shop teams.

Requirements

  • 0 to 3 years of project management and/or sales experience in construction, industrial installation, or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction management, engineering, relevant technical field, or accounting and finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in and lead cross-functional teams and subcontractors to deliver projects
  • Resilience under pressure with a proactive approach to problem-solving and change management
  • Demonstrated leadership, adaptability, and conflict resolution in dynamic environments

Responsibilities

  • Support critical spares operations; colloquially known as Parts and Components. Create estimates, sales proposals and change orders, kick off projects, monitor and perform project tasks, update monthly and annual client inventories, and maintain tracking for serial numbered critical spares.
  • Help maintain project estimates by updating committed costs, forecasted resources, and project schedules. Assist with invoicing and collections.
  • Participate in bi-weekly project management meetings and report on project progress, financial status and known risks.
  • Work with project teams to identify critical spares for follow up with client buyers to create and facilitate sales.
  • Send RFQs to sub fabricators and vendors.
  • Maintain work instructions for various tasks through the critical spares process.
  • Promote a safe working environment; Obtain CPR and OSHA 10 certification
