About The Position

Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices in engineering and project management. Uses experience and problem solving skills to develop and improve processes. Displays core competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures. Performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within engineering and design. This position is located at a client site in Circleville, OH. Work will be performed on site, with schedule flexibility for remote work opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering
0-5 years project engineering experience required. Small project cost control and support preferred.
Must be proficient in Excel and other Microsoft office products
Strong business and analytical acumen.
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to achieve results in interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for technical leadership of a project, typically up to $500K, within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer.
Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation.
Performs technical studies to refine project requirements.
Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received.
May conduct performance/project analyses during phase-down to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs.
Incumbents have experience as engineers before moving into this project role
Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression.
Develops competence by performing structured work assignments.
Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.
Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others.
Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline.
