About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal utility and aviation infrastructure projects in the Dallas market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in master planning, sewer line and water line design / inspection, utility infrastructure improvements, and coordination with regional water authorities, municipalities, and aviation clients. This position will manage projects from concept through construction while serving as a technical leader and client manager for water, wastewater, and aviation-related utility infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 12+ years of experience in utility engineering and project management
  • Strong experience with: Master sewer planning, Water distribution system design, Wastewater collection system design, Utility capital improvement projects, Aviation or airport infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency with: WaterCAD, SewerCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience working with: Municipal utility systems, Water authorities, Airport authorities or aviation clients, Public-sector infrastructure clients
  • Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage utility and aviation infrastructure projects including: Water transmission and distribution systems, Wastewater collection systems, Master sewer planning and analysis, Water line and sewer line rehabilitation and expansion projects, Airfield utility infrastructure improvements, Airport civil/site development projects
  • Prepare and oversee engineering studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Perform hydraulic modeling and system analysis using: WaterCAD, SewerCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Coordinate with municipalities, utility districts, airport authorities, and regional water authorities
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables
  • Inspect water/wastewater construction
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance
  • Support business development efforts including proposals, presentations, and client meetings
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including transportation, aviation, and construction management.
