About The Position

Primary responsibility is for Design Program Management for Transmission Transceivers new PIP development products, starting from PIP1 development and for coordination the product through to mass production handover PM responsibilities include full schedule definition for project, coordinating product and program cost analysis and tracking, and supporting core team meeting and cross functional requirements Secondary responsibility for supporting SharePoint site and sub-sites for the organization, and enhancing use of SharePoint to support the product development activities

Requirements

  • MS/MBA or equivalent degree.
  • 1-5 years' program management experience; recent graduates will be considered.
  • Project Management knowledge and experience needed
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Project experience required
  • Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills.
  • Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp. required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an organization developing high-tech electronic devices with embedded firmware a plus
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Experience with SharePoint and some SharePoint site ownership / administration is a major advantage
  • Strong Jira knowledge and experience is a plus
