The Program Manager is a 12-month, full-time embedded role working directly inside the Little Rock School District’s Alternative Learning Environment campuses (Hamilton Learning Center and ACC) and collaborating with the City of Little Rock Summer Youth Program. This position oversees the day-to-day implementation and coordination of REAL Deal program activities, ensuring that curriculum delivery, student engagement, support services, and program operations are carried out effectively across participating sites. The position provides direct student support, behavioral diagnostic assessments, crisis response, trauma-informed guidance, case management, curriculum reinforcement, and coordination with community-based health and mental health services. The role strengthens school–home–community partnerships and removes barriers to learning, in alignment with READY4Life goals and LRSD social work standards. This position will present relationship-based curriculum in small-group workshops, provide group and individual coaching, support day-to-day classroom and campus needs, monitor student progress, assist with REAL Deal enrichment activities, and help students access appropriate support services. This position will also work closely with families and community members to strengthen support systems around each student, ensuring early intervention, consistent communication, and continuity of care. This position supports healthy relationship skill-building, emotional regulation, improved attendance, conflict resolution, and long-term planning for REAL Deal participants. This position must understand and apply all federal and state laws related to disabilities, mental health, child welfare, confidentiality, mandated reporting, and student and family rights.
