About The Position

Liberty Mutual Investments (LMI) manages Liberty Mutual Insurance Group’s global investment portfolio, overseeing more than $100 billion in assets. LMI aims to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns and support Liberty Mutual’s long-term financial strength by investing across various asset classes. As LMI progresses its 2030 strategy, it is enhancing its capabilities, expanding private markets, modernizing its operating platform, and introducing new investment structures to foster growth. This strategic advancement necessitates disciplined program execution, effective cross-functional coordination, and an operating model capable of managing increasing complexity without compromising speed or rigor. The Program Management team, part of GIS Strategy & Execution, is central to this effort. This team governs LMI’s most complex strategic programs, sustains the operational infrastructure for Product, Data, and Technology teams, and collaborates across the enterprise to ensure rigorous and repeatable execution. Reporting to the Head of Program Management, the Associate Program Manager will play a key role in these initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of significant tasks from the outset, including managing events that define the GIS delivery calendar, coordinating the operational cadence between investment and technology teams, and contributing to active programs as a developing Associate PM. The position provides a clear path for professional growth, enabling the individual to build business fluency, cultivate stakeholder relationships, and develop program management expertise to eventually transition into a full Program Manager role.
