Requirements

  • Masters degree in Behavioral Health Discipline
  • 3 years work experience working with Behavioral Health population
  • At least three years' experience in the provision of behavioral health treatment for children, youth and adults.
  • Driver's License and Vehicle Required

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall supervision of program at assigned Residential Treatment site
  • Provide individual and group supervision of assigned staff, to include Residential Treatment Assistants.
  • Ensure that staff vacancies are filled by interviewing and recommending selected candidates for hire to Human resources Department. Complete site orientations for all new hires.
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are followed before, during and after any physical intervention.
  • Regularly observe and provide feedback to Residential Treatment Associates to ensure that their interactions with each resident are consistent with the individual’s treatment and rehabilitation plans
  • Ensure community meetings and other similar meetings are held on a regular basis.
  • Ensure individuals gain access to needed psychiatric, medical, social, financial and other appropriate services
  • Ensure that all relevant information is communicated to the psychiatrist and all other team members
  • Implement and collaborate with team, skill training for individuals and families both on site and in the individual’s home.
  • Monitor program site to ensure health and safety of residents and coordinate with Facilities Department.
  • Ensure that the housekeeping, dietary and other basic life needs of each resident are being met
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of site at all times
  • Ensure opportunities for residents to engage in community integration are provided
