CHI Health Clinic, in partnership with Creighton University School of Medicine, is actively recruiting an Associate Program Director for their fellowship program. The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of the endocrinology program while engaging in patient care, medical education, and scholarly activities. This role involves a .9 Clinical and .1 Academic FTE, performing both outpatient and inpatient clinical care with a mix of general endocrinology and inpatient consults. Call responsibility is 8 weeks per year, assisted by internal medicine residents and endocrinology fellows. The position entails treating a full spectrum of endocrine conditions, including thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, bone, and metabolic disorders, in addition to diabetes. Bedside teaching and supervision of medical students, internal medicine residents, and endocrinology fellows are key components. The anticipated patient volume is 15 patients per full clinic day. The Associate Program Director will contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of the fellowship curriculum, including didactic sessions, conferences, and clinical rotations. They will also assist in identifying and assigning research projects for fellows, fostering their scholarly activity, and collaborate closely with the Program Director on strategic planning, program evaluation, and ACGME accreditation requirements. A Faculty Appointment commensurate with experience at Creighton University School of Medicine is offered, along with a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
