About The Position

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst/ Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst. This position can be filled at a level 1 or level 2. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems sector in Layton, UT. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Business Management Organization.

Requirements

  • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027.
  • Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Active U.S. Government Security Clearance
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access will be required to start.
  • Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027 or a completed Bachelors degree and 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
  • Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
  • Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
  • Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled.
  • Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
  • Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
  • Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
