The Department of Management at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in Management. The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2027. The successful candidate will be eligible to be named the inaugural Sam Ibrahim Chair in Entrepreneurship for a five-year term, which may be renewable following a favourable review. As the Sam Ibrahim Chair in Entrepreneurship, the successful candidate will lead academic research and collaboration with the Sam Ibrahim Centre for Inclusive Excellence in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Leadership (SICIEEIL) while working collaboratively with the UTSC’s Office of the Vice-Principal Academic & Dean and the Office of the Vice-Principal Research and Innovation, and other units within the University of Toronto’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. This role will work collaboratively with the Director of SICIEEIL and Partnerships who has the overall accountability and responsibility for the day-to-day administration of SICIEEIL. UTSC’s entrepreneurship hub serving all 16 departments, and their undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff; and alumni. SICIEEIL is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs across every stage of their journey, from idea conception to business scaling and groundbreaking research, fostering an inclusive ecosystem that celebrates diverse perspectives and fuels innovation across industries.
