About The Position

The Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine, in partnership with The Hemophilia of Georgia Center for Bleeding & Clotting Disorders of Emory in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a motivated, collaborative, and enthusiastic physician-investigator to join the Hematology Division as the Sidney F. Stein Chair in Hemophilia and Hemostasis. This endowed position is intended for a senior-level faculty member (Associate Professor or Professor) with a clinical and research focus on adult patients with inherited bleeding disorders. The successful candidate will contribute to Emory's multidisciplinary comprehensive care clinic, outpatient hematology practice, and inpatient hematology consultative services across Emory University Hospital, Winship Cancer Institute, Emory University Hospital Midtown, and Grady Memorial Hospital. The Chairholder will also play an active role in teaching and mentoring trainees at Emory University School of Medicine and will support the ongoing expansion of research in hemostasis within the Division and Center. Requirements

  • M.D. or equivalent degree
  • Board certification in Hematology
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Georgia
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical care and research in hematology
