About The Position
The Associate Professor of Instruction will teach Clinical Laboratory Sciences courses to both on-campus and distance Master of Science (MS) and Doctor of Medical Laboratory Science (DMLS) students. This role involves developing lesson plans, preparing course materials, grading assignments, and advising students on academic and research matters. The position also requires participation in scholarly, professional, administrative, departmental, and committee activities.

- Doctoral degree in health-related field
- Three years teaching experience

Responsibilities
- Teach Clinical Laboratory Sciences courses (lectures) to on-campus and distance MS/DCLS students.
- Teach MSHP 5302 Scientific Writing
- CLLS 55319 Biostatistics
- CLLS 6306 Diagnostic Algorithms
- CLLS 6031 DCLS Seminar 2
- Develop lesson plans, prepare presentations, and obtain visual aids for on campus and distance web-based courses.
- Grade student papers and practical examinations.
- Advise students (both on-campus and distance) on academic and research activities.
- Participate in scholarly, professional, and administrative service activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committee meetings, and other scholarly activities.
