The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) is undergoing growth and transformation, focusing on delivering high-value care, driving research and innovation, and cultivating excellence in medical education. The Division of Oncology is a dynamic and expanding program dedicated to patient care, research, and education, providing comprehensive cancer care across UTMB's hospitals. The division offers advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, multidisciplinary management of complex malignancies, and participation in innovative clinical trials. It is committed to advancing cancer care through research, education, and collaboration, working closely with other medical teams to deliver compassionate, patient-centered treatment. The Division also runs an ACGME-accredited Medical Oncology Fellowship Program and plays an active role in medical student and resident education. UTMB is seeking a full-time physician at the rank of Associate Professor of Clinical Practice within the Division of Medical Oncology. This position emphasizes high-quality clinical cancer care, active participation in teaching, and engagement in the academic mission of the department. The successful candidate will join a team of faculty dedicated to delivering exceptional oncology care, advancing clinical education, and participating in scholarly, quality improvement, and research activities.
