Associate Production Manager - Footwear
About The Position
This role is responsible for attending in-season Production and related meetings, and communicating any product-related information to all internal teams and vendors from initial concept stages through delivery. The Associate Production Manager will collect and manage time and action information to ensure adherence to the corporate Product Development Calendar. They will maintain seasonal cost charts, communicate initial projections and cost targets to vendors, and engage in cost negotiations as needed. Additionally, this role involves managing sample requests and tracking samples to ensure deadlines, quality standards, and design aesthetics are met. The Associate Production Manager will attend fit sessions to ensure proper measurements are being met and sample corrections are being made within our fit process guidelines. A key part of this role is maintaining the line of communication between internal teams, vendors, and factories to communicate and track style detail information and calendar deadlines.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in production/product management
- Experience in garment costing
- Knowledge of time and action calendars
- Excellent communication, organizational and follow-through skills
- Experience in PLM and Microsoft Suite
