About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for Associate Production Coordinator – B to join our dynamic team in Heath, OH. This role involves processing and moving production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions. The position also includes monitoring and analyzing work in process, communicating status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods, and identifying and solving problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes. The Associate Production Coordinator will coordinate with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays, and works under general supervision.

Requirements

  • More than 2 years of experience in Analytical Skills, and Inventory Control
  • More than 2 years of experience in Microsoft Office Applications
  • More than 2 years of experience of Materials planning or Inventory Control process role in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher
  • 2 or more years of experience using lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system
  • Experience in supply chain concepts and best practices
