About The Position

The purpose of this role is to support and execute the Pampered Chef (durables) product strategy, ensuring the portfolio supports our brand vision and promise. The goal of this role is to deliver profitable growth globally by maintaining a portfolio of products that are differentiated and innovative in the marketplace, and that are supported with compelling storylines and experiences that will inspire our consultants and consumers. The Associate Product Manager will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders within the Product Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Field teams to accomplish their objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline, or MBA in a related field desired.
  • 3-5+ years of career experience in product management and/or product development management, preferably in durable goods.
  • Experience within high-velocity, global, consumer product categories preferred.
  • Experience in the consumer goods industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supports and executes the product/solutions strategy for assigned categories within our portfolio, including building the roadmap, business case development, and NPD execution from concept to launch, keeping a balance between market trends, consumer expectations, technical feasibility, and financial feasibility.
  • Ensure a clear definition of each new product included in seasonal plans through product requirements and desired user experience (concept briefs), validating or clarifying as needed through consumer and/or customer insights, and execution of supporting Go-to-Market content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure successful launch of new products each season, supporting or ideating on pivots as needed.
  • Manages product categories from cradle-to-grave, maximizing revenue and maintaining a healthy business through rationalization, pricing activities, and promotional recommendations as needed throughout the year.
  • Supports the product management team by analyzing and reporting on portfolio health, proactively creating and presenting category performance updates and plans to address gaps, and presenting strategies to drive incremental growth.
  • Ability to speak to product category strategies and item-level features and benefits to key stakeholders at every level of the organization, tailoring the message to respective audiences.
  • Ongoing support of the business through special projects or events.
